Product Certification Program

A2LA accredits product certification bodies to various product certification schemes, which provides confidence that products, processes or services meet the intended use or need in the marketplace.

This accreditation is available to all organizations that provide product certification, and A2LA welcomes applications for the accreditation of all types of certifications. This program covers a multitude of product areas including, but not limited to:

Personal protective and safety equipment

Bottled water and packaged ice

Plastic piping systems and components

Plumbing products

Building and institutional furniture

Accreditation Requirements

Product Certification Bodies are assessed against the general criteria contained within ISO/IEC 17065:2012 Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Processes and Services.

Advisory Committee
